The Humanities Discipline

The curriculum of the Humanities Discipline primarily focuses on the fields of humanities that demonstrate human values and cultural heritage, including literature, history, language, and philosophy. The goal of curriculum design and planning encompasses these disciplines.

In addition to fulfilling the requirements of general education courses, the Humanities Discipline also assumes the mission of providing foundational education in military academies. With the aim of providing a comprehensive quality education, emphasis is placed on foreign language training to establish a solid language foundation for various professional programs and develop excellent foreign language communication skills. Simultaneously, through courses on military ethics and character education, correct values and humanistic qualities are instilled to cultivate outstanding naval officers who are loyal, patriotic, morally upright, and possess independent judgment abilities.
