Banner Hang-Over Ceremony
Banner Hang-Over Ceremony is an important event in every year. The ceremony is supervised by Academy President. Military band plays the song We Are Brothers to open the ceremony for the school flag team of the graduate class. Midshipmen commander leads the flag team performing the flag to President and then transfers to the new commander at the school and his flag team. After receiving flag, it means a very important responsibility for the new chain of command to maintain the school honor and pride. Then, it is the ceremony for changing the leadership position, which the commander of the graduate class gives his command sword to President and passes to the new commander in the academy. This means the new chain of command take over the leadership in the school. The ceremony is not only the rite for graduate class leaving school but it more likely stands for succeeding the tradition and receiving duty.
