Our
mission is to prepare Midshipmen to be professional
officers in the Naval and Marine Corps service. The
courses offered by our department – Seamanship, Navigation,
Naval Tactics, Leadership, Weapon Systems, and Naval
Technologies – develop skills to be ready for combat.
Our philosophy of education stresses attention to
individual students by highly qualified faculty members
who are strongly committed to teaching. In addition
to having Master and PHD degree, our faculties are all
experienced naval officers. Working together closely,
these officers form one of the strongest and most dedicated
teaching faculties of any military institution in Taiwan. |
