On May 13, 2019, the 2019 English Speech Contest for Students was held in the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall at 2:00 p.m. It was presided over by Rear-admiral Chiang, with Associate Professor Yu-Der Sun and Lecturer Hsia Kang who are full-time English teachers of the Academy, Assistant Professor Po-Ruey Lei from the General Discipline Department, and Captain Cheng the Bridge Commander as the judges. The winners were presented with the certificate of commendation at the monthly meeting.
