Recently, Liu Yu-Chun, a third-year student of the Dep. of Information Management, and Teng Ping-Chien, a third-year student of the Dep. of Marine Science, were invited to participate in the 30th Anniversary of the Taiwan Women's Studies Association (TWSA) Symposium. Under the guidance of Lt. Col. Jhong Cheng-Hong, an assistant professor of the General Center , the topic of the symposium was "Breaking the Silence! A Primer on the Adaptation and Challenges of Gay and Lesbian Students in Military Schools", the paper was presented on September 23rd at the National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan.
